What is Simple Unit-Based (Per-Seat) Pricing?

The “Seat” in per Seat Pricing refers to the seat of someone sitting in front of your software using it. In other words, this pricing model charges a fixed fee for every user account that your customer creates. There is no base fee associated.

Why this model?

The more people on your customer’s account who use your product, the more value they get out of it. They likely don’t get much value out of the product aside from the volume of users that have access to it. Simple per-seat pricing ensures that you’re getting revenue for each value-added user your customer adds, and they’re never having to pay too much (and cancel) or too little (where you miss out on revenue).
